Sports and Greed

The other day, I was driving through a neighborhood in my town when I saw several young kids playing football in the 105 degree(Farenheit)weather. It got me thinking about how greed has destroyed sports in America. There are countless people that would play in the NFL for $60,000 a year. Instead, these athletes think they deserve $20 million dollars a year! (The men and women fighting for our country overseas deserve that more) And then you have owners who want to work the players to exhaustion to make more money. This is how lockouts begin(in a shell) and if you want me to explain the NFL and NBA lockouts in depth, leave a comment regarding it. Bottom line, the greed in sports must be dealt with, or the professional leagues will be run into the ground. I'll leave with this, do you think the inventor of baseball did just that for money? Or for the love of the game?

Choosing the right Fantasy Football name for your team

As you all know, football season is coming very soon. Thus, fantasy football is coming as well. Now, choosing good players is always important, but the name of your team means everything. Your team name decides whether your team should be feared, or laughed at. Always include your team's name in these sayings to see if they will work. " The (Team name) are the best in the league!" "This week, the (Team name) are going to do work!" This will help you narrow down what team name you choose. Also, you can base a team name around a player that you drafted. For example, "It a'int easy, being Breesy" (Saint's Quarterback Drew Brees), or "The Foster Home" (Texan's Running back Arian Foster". Names such as these are preferred because they could get a laugh out of the rest of the league, while reminding your opponent that you have this specific player. You could even break out the Brett Favre team names. These include "Do us all Favre and retire" or Favre's Flip Flops" or even Favre's Foot long." You can never go wrong with making fun of Brett Favre. Or Adam "Pacman" Jones. In conclusion, choose your team name wisely, it will decide the fate of your fantasy football team in the end.
